This is what a climate of fear looks like.
When searching for “sex” in Google, the first suggestion is “sex offenders.” The tenth suggestion is “sexually transmitted diseases.”
Why are so many people so much more concerned about sex offenders than sexually transmitted diseases when the percentage of people who are the former is so dramatically smaller than the percentage of people who have some kind of the latter?
