When the government charged Pfc. Manning with “aiding the enemy,” but failed to define who the “enemy” was, it became clear to me that what Maximilian Forte foresaw has become reality:

To the state, every defiant citizen is a terrorist, in mind if not in practice.

I am Bradley Manning because I care about knowing the truth about what my government does, and why. I think that wherever the people lead, our leaders will have to follow. Let’s lead with our eyes open, not closed.
